How importing a car with 22Autos works

  1. Share your requirements. Tell us your preferred vehicle and total budget. Let us know whether you want help finding a car or already have a vehicle to ship.
  2. Confirm eligibility and review the quote. Check manufacture records, damage history, title and Ghana's current vehicle restrictions before authorising a bid. Then review the paperwork and itemised estimate.
  3. Confirm the purchase and shipment. Agree on the buying method, transport to the departure port, freight, insurance and who is responsible for each payment.
  4. Prepare for Customs clearance. Keep the shipment and ownership documents ready. Arrange the declaration, assessment and release with your clearing agent.
  5. Plan delivery and road use. Include any repairs, local transport and registration arrangements in your budget. Confirm the handover plan before the vehicle arrives.

When reviewing an auction listing, check the title status, vehicle condition and collection location. Ask for transport to the port and auction charges as separate quote items.

Canada

Include the vehicle's location and available ownership documents in your request. Ask about underbody condition, inland transport and export arrangements before buying.

Germany

Request the seller's paperwork and available service history. Confirm the purchase currency, export arrangements and shipping quote so the budget uses consistent figures.
